100%
Description
Environment details
7.0.0 staging server
Prerequisites
BYOD enrolled android device
BYOD enrolled windows device
Steps
Go to single device operation.
trigger a factory reset
Description
Currently it is possible to send a a factory reset operation to BYOD enrolled devices [1] [2].
This will negatively affect the users who are using their own device(who has private data)
see the possibility to get user confirmation before factory reset or disable this option for BYOD devices.
NOTE: It is also a possible to send a group "factory reset" operation.
If the group contained both BYOD or COPE devices, both devices will receive the operation.
Before implementing a solution, consider the above mentioned situation as well.
Result
Can send a "Factory reset" operation to BYOD devices.
