Description
In the Mail Receivers field in Geo Alert configuration, when attempting to add an email address like john.doe@gmail.com to the Mail Receivers field, the form incorrectly displays a validation error: “Invalid email!”. However, Gmail allows dots in email addresses (e.g., john.doe@gmail.com is valid). We verified that Gmail addresses without dots (e.g., abc@gmail.com) are accepted by the form. This indicates an issue with the email validation.
Steps to Reproduce
- Go to Geo Alert Configurations → GEO FENCE IN or OUT.
- Enter john.doe@gmail.com in the Mail Receivers field.
- Observe the error “Invalid email!” displayed below the field.
Expected Result
The system should accept any valid Gmail address, including those with dots.
Actual Result
The system rejects valid Gmail addresses containing dots.
